My classes are almost over for winter vacation. Even though it's only a high school, they're on semester-based scheduling...for some reason (I'd say it was to prepare students for college, but...they don't really encourage students to go to college. It's an "optional" thing, so I can't imagine why they'd try to prepare everyone). Schedule is looking like this:

Today: Finish up finals in third period. Have free time in first, second, and fourth.
Tomorrow: Free time in first, second, and third. Leave after lunch, since I'm exempt from my final in fourth block.
Thursday: Free time in first block. Take my last final in second block. Get released before lunch.

And yes, they did schedule the last set of finals like that just to make sure that people show up =/ The school doesn't receive credit for a day unless more than 50% of the student body is there for more than 50% of the day. Which is really quite silly, since we just end up being forced to attend a bunch of half-days with half-full classes.

But yes. Classes. OVER. That marks the end of my exposure to the dregs of society for the next few weeks...which, of course, frees up blessed free time for whatever I want. No more socially retarded creeps! No more misogynistic rednecks! NO MORE TEACHERS WHO CAN'T PRONOUNCE THE VOCABULARY WORDS! I'd like to finish at least one AMV over the break. I've finished holiday shopping for my friends and family (luckily, since I hate crowds, and they aren't going to get any better as Christmas approaches), so I won't have to worry about that. I should have enough time for a really big project, if the mood strikes me...>D
